How to repel insects on a horseback riding vacation
Let’s face it. Horse and flies go together like fleas on a dog. I hate fleas, flies, chiggers, ticks and mosquitoes. But I do love horses, dogs and horseback riding vacations. This week, I’m leaving for the high desert of Central Oregon.
I’m going on a horseback riding vacation at Sunriver Resort and the packing has begun.

Insider Tip: Don’t take this shirt to the dry cleaner! Machine wash this 100% nylon fabric in cold water. Wash with like colors and don’t use bleach or fabric softeners, as they will defeat the purpose of the Insect Shield. You may tumble dry your shirt on low and iron, but I simply hang dry my shirt. The Permethrin is good for up to 70 washes.
