Swim, fish or paddle a canoe
In addition to horseback riding, there is plenty to do out of the saddle or for the non-equestrians in the group. Enjoy the swimming pool, ride or hike the marked trails, go fishing, paddle a canoe, or go tubing.
During the September Loretta Lynn Trail Ride, horseback rides are available three times daily, Monday thru Friday and breakfast on Saturday. Trail ride fees include: camping, all meals, hayrides, dances, swimming pool privileges, Movie Night and all week long riders will be eligible for the western saddle drawing.

Retail therapy on your horseback riding vacation
During the September Loretta Lynn Trail Ride, the ranch hosts a used tack auction. Bring any type of tack for the used tack auction on Wednesday night..saddles, bridles, blankets, lamps, western decor, western clothing, guns, knives, etc..
If you are visiting the Loretta Lynn Ranch any time of year, you can cowboy up at the Western store before beginning your horseback riding vacation. The shop sells boots, pants, shirts, belts, and, of course, every cowgirl or buckaroo needs a custom cowboy hat. Custom Tree and Saddle Company ” Steele Saddles” is the official sponsor of the Loretta Lynn Trial Ride.
