Wow! This is the kind of winter horseback riding vacation that I’d like to take.
I went on a trail ride at Jackson lake lodge in 2001 and 2002. I have my own horses but fell in love with a black draft cross gelding named decker. Decker was the most beautiful, sweet, horse I had ever seen. I had seen plenty! He had beautiful movement and the kindest nature. When I returned back east I traced where the lodge leased their horses and almost 9 years later I own decker and in spite of hardships and people who don’t understand, there is a bond that exists between horse and man, in this case, woman.
