Horseback riding vacations for travelers
If you are reading this blog post, like me, you love horses and going on horseback riding vacations. As a travel writer, I decided to combine my love of horses with my professional travel writing career and the Writing Horseback blog was born.
The Equestrian Travel Association (ETA), an organization dedicated to establishing best practices in the equestrian travel industry, is launching a worldwide equestrian travel guide. Coinciding with the website launch, ETA is offering a chance to win one of three horseback riding vacations through their Facebook page.

The Equestrian Travel Sweepstakes, running from March 15th through June 15th 2012, offers horse and travel lovers the opportunity to enter in one of three ways for a chance to win one of three equestrian holidays:
1. A 2 ½ day immersive dressage experience for the winner and one guest at Charlotte Bredahl’s California Dressage Retreat on her ranch in Buellton, California.
2. A Romantic Ride in the Green Mountains for two, including a 4 day/3 night stay at the Mountaintop Inn and Resort in Chittenden, Vermont (sponsored by Active Travel).
3. A Buenos Aires Horse Adventure, featuring a 3 day/2 night personalized horse adventure for two in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
US Residents over the age of 18 may enter by simply submitting their equestrian vacation prize preference on Facebook, Twitter or the Equestrian Travel Guide website, where the official rules are posted.
How to enter the horseback riding vacation sweepstakes
You may enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period in three ways: (1) visit the ETA Facebook page and click on the “Like” button to become a fan of ETA’s Facebook page, then click on the “Sweepstakes” tab and fill out the Entry Form, (2) visit the Equestrian Travel Guide and fill in the required entry form or (3) mention equinetravel on Twitter with one of the following hashtags: (1) #dressage (2) #romantic, or (3) #adventure, where the hashtag indicates your first choice of the corresponding Prizes. ONE ENTRY PER PERSON FOR THE DURATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES.
