North Texas Hill Country
I could feel John Wayne settle in my bones as I rode horseback along side the Brazos River at the Wildcatter Ranch outside of Graham, Texas. My mount, Wildfire, an 11 year old quarter horse, was an old hand at horseback riding vacations in North Texas Hill Country.
Wildcatter Ranch
Wildcatter Ranch Barn Manager Jay Brewer knows his way around horses. The #2 ranked Bullfighter in Young County, Texas, Brewer oversees 22 horses and leads 60 and 90 minutes horseback trail rides at Wildcatter Ranch.
As a professional Bullfighter, Brewer’s rodeo job is to distract the bull away from the fallen bull rider and keep him from getting injured by the bull. At Wildcatter Ranch, Brewer’s job is to match horse to rider and lead equestrian lovers on a horseback riding vacation over 1,500 acres of ranch property.

Nancy, thanks for your words. I believe you truly captured what we’re all about at Wildcatter.
I am interested in scheduling a family ‘ranch’ vacation for 7 days. 2 adults and 2 children. Late July would be our preferable time. Please advise on the rates and activities. Thank you
