Ariat Western Boots

Ariat Western Boot Review

My daughter was grinning ear to ear when I walked in the house with bags of groceries in my arms. “Do you notice anything?” she asked with a hopeful voice. I glanced at her face for a hair cut or a new nail polish color. My eyes continued scanning downward and I noticed the shiny leather brown cowboy boots immediately. “You bought new boots and they are Ariat Western boots. I approve,” I laughed with a smile on my face.

My young adult daughter recently graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and is moving away to begin her first real job after college. Fortunately for me, she earns a paycheck and buys her own wardrobe and footwear. I’ve come to terms with the fact that girls who wear cowboy boots do not necessarily ride horses.

“I’ve been wanting these boots for several years,” said Kendall Brown. “They feel like they are custom made for me. They fit like a glove and they are so cute. They are everything I wanted in a boot!”

Ariat boots

I am an equine travel writer and I love my Ariat boots. I have the Ariat Paddock Boots; they are ideal for easy on and off going through airport security. I don’t yet own a pair of Ariat cowboy boots. I might have to remedy that situation.

What I like about Ariat’s women’s Heritage Western R-Toe boot. These cowboy boots appear to the fashionista and the equestrian rider. The leather features an elegant stitch pattern for the fashion-conscious woman and the dress rubber sole and ATS footbed technology make this a comfortable boot for work, play, day in the country or horseback riding holiday.

The sales woman from Golden Gate Western Wear has owned this same pair of Ariat Western boots for five years. She told my daughter that the Ariat boots are water resistant. The boots retail for approximately $169. Check the website for current pricing.

  1. Aw, shoot – the Ariat Volant only comes in a tall boot now. I’m a new convert to Ariat, ever since I resumed riding a few years ago. My go-to footwear for walking in NYC, if sneakers won’t do, are my Ariat boots, except they’re lace-ups and too hot for July and August. I stalk sales for Ariats. For comfort, you can’t beat them.

  2. That’s good to know that the Ariat boots can accommodate orthotic inserts. I loved my Frye boots but they turned out not to be very comfortable. Maybe it’s time to give Ariat a try.
